Prof Jenny Low

Professor Jenny Low is a senior consultant with the Department of Infectious Diseases in Singapore General Hospital and Professor in the Emerging Infectious Diseases Programme at Duke-NUS Medical School. Concurrently, she is the Co-Director of Viral Research and Experimental Medicine Centre@ SingHealth Duke-NUS (ViREMiCS) in the SingHealth/Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre and Deputy Clinical and Scientific Director at the SingHealth Investigational Medicine Unit (IMU). She is also the Vice-Chair (research) for the Medicine Academic Clinical Programme at SingHealth/Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre. Professor Jenny Low’s expertise is on conducting proof-of -concept, first-in-human therapeutics (including biologics and mRNA) using innovative trial designs and leveraging on molecular signatures to address emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases. She hopes to define clinical trial endpoints using objective molecular markers rather than subjective clinical observations in early phase trials and to develop the regulatory acceptance of molecular endpoints to augment the informativeness of early phase clinical trials.
