Dr Jonathan Loh

LOH Yuin-Han Jonathan is the Deputy Executive Director and Research Director at ASTAR's Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB) and President of the Stem Cell Society Singapore. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and a faculty member of the NUS Graduate School of Integrative Sciences and Engineering. Jonathan earned First Class Honours in Molecular Biology and a PhD in Integrative Sciences from NUS, supported by the ASTAR Scholarship, and received the Philip Yeo Prize. He completed postdoctoral training in Hematology and Oncology at Harvard Medical School. His research focuses on cell fate regulation, including interactions of epigenetic factors, transcription factors in differentiation, and epitranscriptomic influences on cell states. Jonathan has received multiple awards, including the MIT TR35 Asia Pacific Award and the Singapore Young Scientist Award. He founded two biotech start-ups, InnoCellular and Genovn Therapeutics, and serves on the board of Nasdaq-listed Cytomed Therapeutics (GDTC).
